This part of the coast feels like it comes alive at sunset, the lorikeets chattering in the pines, everyone up at the headland chasing the best sunset around, the walk, the Pavilion, Rick Shores. I wanted it to feel like a big colourful hive of life and fun.
I wanted to capture every perfect Burleigh beach day in one painting. The waves, the whales, some cheeky bin chickens, the bush turkeys, and the seagull who steals your chippies! So many of you have been asking for this one, I'm so stoked it's finally here!
